An OK session, but the wind was really gusty. I rigged my 5.7m sail and big board and sailed off downwind through the channels, headed upwind past the point and out into the main Aberdovey Channel. There were a couple of guys (Neil and Pete) sailing from aberdovey so I sailed downwind a little and onto the beach there for a chat. They were out on bigger boards and sails.

We had some good runs up and down the channel, but the winds were very gusty. Although mainly good, there were some big lulls and some gusts which were much more fun. After a while the other two wnet in and I had a good ten minutes nicely powered up as a squall came through.

I then went over the Aberdovey beach again and had a coffee in Neil and Petes van before heading back across the channel in dying winds and heading back upwind to my van.

Nothing exciting really, I did manage one 360 attempt, the rest of the time I was trying to gain ground upwind in the gusts and bear away to maintain speed in the lulls, so couldn't really go for too much.
